Dark Asylum: The Movie!

Doctor Bernd Fitch has returned home to North Dakota after finishing medical school to take a job at the local mental hospital, under the recommendation of his mentor Doctor Lance. His new job at this place will test the limits of his sanity.

Almost from the first moment he begins his job, he starts hearing voices, telling him to “help her,” not knowing who she is. He then starts to see ghosts who are also sending him warnings. His best friend at work, the independent nurse Eleanor, also hears the same warnings, and the two try to determine what the ghosts are warning them about.

Shortly after beginning the job, Senator Dalton, a Montana Senator who is getting ready to toss his hat into the presidential primaries, is having his lovely young wife Alicia committed at the asylum, under the knowledge that the lead doctor, Doctor Hill, is able to be bought for the right price. Under his care, Alicia can be given a cocktail of drugs that will make her think that she is losing her mind.

Doctor Fitch takes an instant liking to the beautiful young patient, and feels that there is more to her story than has been reported. He puts the pieces together that Alicia is the “she” that the ghosts have been telling her about. He and Eleanor do some research and discover that Doctor Hill has been pumping Alicia with drugs. Doctor Fitch turns to Doctor Lance to work on an antidote for Alicia, to counteract the drugs Doctor Hill has been administering.

One night, Doctor Fitch sees a ghost that tells him that the asylum is a living entity and needs more lives to survive. A fire almost a century earlier had taken many lives that were absorbed into the asylum, and the anniversary of that event is coming up in a few days. Doctor Fitch knows that he has to quickly save Alicia, as well as the other patients.

Will he be able to accomplish his goals and learn what he needs to so he can save his patients, or will he be another victim of the Dark Asylum?
